"How do I get the BACKER UPDATE emails?"

Don't want to miss any behind-the-scenes updates or important information? Good! Read this.

If you made a pledge to #MakeMoreMST3K on Kickstarter between April 7 - May 7, 2021, your rewards include access to all of our BACKER UPDATES.

You can always view all of the updates here, as long as you're logged into Kickstarter, but if you made a pledge during the campaign, you can also choose to receive each update via email.

If you've NEVER gotten backer updates via email, there are a few possible reasons:

  1. Our Backer Updates are getting trapped in your junk folder or spam filter. Be sure to check your email account, and to add no-reply@kickstarter.com to your address book and list of approved senders, so that your email doesn't filter out the updates.
  2. Your Kickstarter account is registered to a different email address than you thought. It's also possible that your Kickstarter account is currently using a different email address than you thought, and that all of the backer updates are being sent to some other email address, instead of the one you were expecting. To check the email address you're using on Kickstarter, click here.

If you WERE getting backer updates via email, and aren't anymore:

  • It's possible that you accidentally UNSUBSCRIBED from the #MakeMoreMST3K Backer Update emails. To start receiving them through email again:
    • Log into Kickstarter using the same account you used to make your pledge.
    • Go to your Notifications settings page.
    • Look for the section called "Projects You've Backed"
    • Click the envelope icon so that it turns blue, and turns on Project Update emails.
    • You'll see a list of all of the projects you've supported.
    • Make sure "Let's Make More MST3K & Build The Gizmoplex" is checked:
    • If you have the Kickstarter app installed on your smartphone, you can also turn on mobile notifications, which will display a message on your phone each time we send a new update!
